UPDATES ON OCT 21 2008

OCT 21 TUESDAY

Lead was quoted at $1,420/1,430, after earlier

falling to a low of $1,390 a tonne, from $1,460 at the close on

Friday. Cancelled warrants -- contracts already reserved for

delivery -- account for 22 percent of stock levels on the LME.
